Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
This policy explains what personal information Leo Tech Labs ("Leo Tech Labs", "we", "us", or "our") collects when you visit leotechlabs.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep our data practices deliberately small. We only ask for what we need to have a useful conversation with you.
1. Who we are
Leo Tech Labs is a software and technology consulting firm operating the website leotechlabs.com. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), Leo Tech Labs acts as the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@leotechlabs.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data that is created automatically when any website is served.
Information you provide
When you fill in our discovery-call form or email us, we collect:
- Your name;
- Your work email address;
- The topic you select; and
- Any message or details you write describing what's slowing your business down.
Please share only what's relevant to your enquiry. There's no need to include sensitive personal information, and we ask that you don't.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting, not to build a profile of you.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide only to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call;
- Understand your needs so we can prepare for that conversation;
- Follow up about the specific matter you contacted us about; and
- Keep our own records of the enquiries we receive.
We do not add you to a newsletter, run automated marketing sequences, sell your data, or use it for advertising.
4. Our basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give by choosing to contact us, and to take steps at your request before entering into any engagement. Where you provide information on behalf of your organisation, you confirm you are entitled to share it with us for this purpose.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the small set of trusted service providers ("Data Processors") that help us run the website and manage enquiries:
- Netlify: hosts this website and processes form submissions on our behalf.
- Google (Workspace / Google Sheets): where we securely store the details of enquiries so we can respond to them.
- Google Fonts: our pages load typefaces from Google's font service, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts.
These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or by a valid request from a competent authority.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or profiling tools. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function. Because we don't track you across the web, there's nothing here for you to opt out of.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of our business correspondence. If a conversation doesn't lead to an engagement and you'd like your details removed, just ask and we'll delete them.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act and comparable data-protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Erase your personal data where it's no longer needed;
- Withdraw consent at any time, which will not affect processing done before withdrawal; and
- Raise a grievance about how we handle your data.
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@leotechlabs.com and we'll respond within a reasonable period.
9. How we protect it
We rely on reputable providers that maintain industry-standard security, use encrypted (HTTPS) connections across the site, and limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to reply to you. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
10. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law evolve. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
12. Contact and grievances
If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise your rights, or wish to raise a grievance about how we handle your data, contact:
